Our story: YTY, Olivier Cordoleani, and digital art

Photonumerique.com is published by YTY (France), a studio founded by Olivier Cordoleani, a French pioneer of digital art and gaming since 1986. Our mission: to bring contemporary digital art into every home, with the quality of a fine art photography gallery print — without the snobbery of the traditional art market.

A vision: democratizing digital art

Just as photography revolutionized visual art in the 19th century, digital tools are redefining artistic creation today. A new generation of digital artists is producing works as impressive, as evocative, as memorable as the great traditional masters — but with different tools.

Our mission at Photonumerique.com: to make these works accessible to everyone, in a premium gallery format.

Olivier Cordoleani, digital art pioneer

Olivier Cordoleani, founder of YTY studio, is a French pioneer of digital art and gaming since 1986. He has accompanied every wave of creative digital transformation — from the earliest graphical interfaces of the late 1980s, through the rise of 3D rendering in the 1990s and 2000s, to today’s contemporary digital art created with advanced digital tools. Over four decades, he has founded multiple studios at the intersection of art, gaming, and digital creative technologies.

His ambition for Photonumerique: to build an accessible online gallery that combines the best of contemporary digital art with a premium physical support — silver halide Lambda Print face-mounted on acrylic glass, the standard of fine art photography galleries and museums.

YTY, the studio behind Photonumerique

YTY (France) is a creative and technology studio that incubates projects at the intersection of art, gaming, and digital creative technologies. Photonumerique.com is our mainstream showcase for large-format printed digital art.

Our brand ecosystem

We publish two distinct but complementary digital art galleries:

🎨 Photonumerique.com — for everyone

Our open catalog of digital art printed on premium acrylic glass. Target: general public, interior decoration, design professionals, commercial spaces. No limited editions, no artificial scarcity — just quality digital art, accessible.

💎 Pixelrelic.art — for collectors

Our sister gallery, dedicated to limited edition numbered and certified artworks, compatible with the RELICKEEPER application. Target: early adopters, pop culture fans, collectors who want to trace the provenance and authenticity of their digital acquisitions.

Same publisher, two clear value propositions depending on what you’re looking for.

Why not Displate?

If you’re looking for a magnetic metal poster to decorate a teen’s room or a gaming corner, Displate does that very well — that’s not our market.

But if you’re looking for a gallery-grade digital artwork — a true silver halide Lambda Print, face-mounted under premium acrylic glass, on an invisible aluminum subframe — that’s our business, and we do it better than they do.
