Domestic DADA takes the most ordinary hours of family life and stages them as glorious absurd theatre. The vacuum becomes an orchestra, the kitchen an opera house, the dog walk a parade. Eight works — Vacuum Symphony, Kitchen Opera, Family Car Ride, Love in Crayon — that find the ridiculous and the tender in the same frame.
The need
Our interior decorator reaches for this collection where life actually happens: the kitchen, the family room, a hallway you pass twenty times a day. Most art asks to be contemplated; this one makes people grin. That is a genuinely rare and underrated quality in a home.
The production
The art director applies DADA logic — collage energy, deliberate nonsense, riotous colour — to domestic ritual. Argument in Red turns a squabble into a colour field; Television Glow and Family Feast stage the evening as tableau. The chaos is composed: every piece is playful, none is sloppy.
